Artist Manifesto

My work resides at the intersection of material exploration and vulnerable introspection—a chaotic space I navigate with a mixture of intuition and intention. Working across mediums and forms such as painting, ink, textiles, collage, book binding, and illustration, I embrace growth, experimentation, and vulnerability as crucial parts of my life and experience as an artist. Rooted in the study of art history with a focus on the ancient world, my practice is shaped by the artists who came before us, those who used creation to make sense of their minds and the consuming world around them. I honor this lineage by channeling emotional weight into work that is visceral, gritty, and honest—and as someone committed to mental health advocacy, I understand art as a powerful tool for healing. Refusing to settle into a singular medium or form, my practice reflects the ebb and flow of feeling and the ever-changing nature of life. While deeply personal, each piece functions as an eye looking outward—waiting for anyone who might feel seen by it.
